We are pleased to start off 2021 by announcing some exciting changes and transitions here at the firm over the past year:

Attorney David R. Wallis has joined the firm as a Principal. David graduated from the University of Missouri-Columbia School of Law in 2006. While in law school David clerked for the Missouri Attorney General’s Office, the Missouri State Public Defender, and the Missouri Department of Insurance. Following graduation, he served as Enforcement Counsel for the Missouri Department of Insurance. In 2007 David began his work at the Missouri State Public Defender where he served as District Defender of the Columbia Trial Office from 2011 to 2018. In this role, David tried over 40 trials to completion. Before joining Rogers | Ehrhardt, David practiced personal injury law and criminal defense at Carson & Coil in Jefferson City. David’s practice will focus on personal injury and insurance defense litigation.

in 2020, Kayla Jackson-Williams also joined REWH as Senior Associate Attorney. Kayla is a 2016 University of Missouri-Columbia School of Law graduate, and previously served as a Public Defender in Boone County. Kayla also serves as an Adjunct Professor at the University of Missouri-Columbia School of Law.

In 2015, having just finished her first year in law school, Katherine M. Johnson joined Rogers | Ehrhardt as a law clerk. Upon her graduation and passing the bar in 2017, she joined the firm as a Junior Associate. As a reward for her service and excellent work over these years, she has been promoted to the level of Senior Associate.

We are thrilled about the continued growth of the firm, and we look forward to what the next year will bring.
